& the mistakes.
flute solo was trembling.
screwed up at bar43 of M.C.
snare wasn't on.
& the superb parts.
opening of M.C was FAB.
running notes were SUPERB.
tempo was on the right road.
yeap that's what we, crestwinds, got. but hey, we gave all we could. we gave the best that we never thought we could. & we know it. hell ya the standards has been raised. but we gave all we could. & that was the medal awarded to us. but hey, the medal doesn't make any difference. but the feeling of how it was being up on stage in a life-&-death competition did make the difference. yes, we did cry. tears trickling down our cheeks. each of us blaming ourselves for screwing up our parts & bla3. but that can't change anything since the results were out already, right. but one thing's for sure. we've bonded closer.
what sounded like a piece of crap a month ago now sounded tremendous. everyone thought of slacking & hell heck cared about SYF. but soon we realise how much it meant. the enthu feeling was there. everyone was as one when some bunch of people insulted us. but we pulled it through & worked harder proving them. & we did.
this year's batch of band members are bonded so well that we can't afford to not be part as one. what's more the Sec4s&5s will be stepping down tomorrow. the seniors who have taught us, who actually didn't really torture us. the seniors that actually make jokes while sectionals & all. the seniors that really tried hard to make everyone of their member in the section able to play well & not think negatively about themselves. we'll miss you people. especially nizam, hidayah, ashraf, CHICKOsaiful, joelCROSSECTIONPARTNER, wei xing, aaron & more. we'll miss you people. & also thanks to marlina, cheryl, kakLIYANA & the other alumni crestwinds members for all their time & effort to come & help at the same time support us. 2009, the next SYF. the sec3s will be out by then [most]. we'll come back & help the juniors for the SYF. & hell yea we're going to give it our best ((:
